Latinos Unidos is a community project in Los Angeles. This page explains how information is handled on latinosunidos.info and in our support request form.
What information the form requests
We request your name, email address, city, type of support, and a brief description of your need. A phone number is optional. We also record your consent to send the request and allow Latinos Unidos to contact you.
Do not include Social Security numbers, bank details, identity documents, or immigration or medical information. The form does not require document uploads.
How your information is used
Request information helps us understand your need, review available support options, and contact you. Submitting a request does not guarantee assistance.
Where requests are stored
Requests are stored in the website database using Flamingo. Records may include technical submission information, such as the date, IP address, and browser. People with administrative access to the system can view these records.
The form is configured to send a notification to ayuda.latinosunidos@gmail.com. Delivery of these notifications is pending verification. Website storage and email delivery are separate processes.
Retention and questions about your information
Submitting the form does not automatically delete the request record. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you provided, email our contact address. We may request information to verify that the request concerns your own data.
Cookies and technical information
WordPress uses cookies for sign-in and account user preferences. Website tools may record technical information for operation and abuse prevention. You can manage cookies in your browser; blocking them may affect some features.
Links and content from other organizations

Comments and accounts, if you use them

Donations
Payment options are pending activation. This website currently does not request card or banking information for donations. When payments are enabled, the relevant provider will be identified.
